Scope and Contents Covenant Youth Caravan was a program of the Evangelical Covenant Church that placed teams of college-age youth in various congregations through the denomination. Volunteers would serve 4-8 months and assisted existing church staff in the Christian Education program of the church at all age levels. As of 1972 the Covenant Youth of America International Youth Assembly was changed to the International Tour. Tours were planned for 1974 and 1975 but never happened. Collection includes photographs and memory books of the International Tour.

This collection includes photos, memory books and newspaper articles about the Covenant Youth of America's European trips between 1956 and 1968. Every four years, approximately one hundred young people in Covenant Youth of America traveled to Europe for a period of sightseeing and participation in an International Youth Assembly.
