Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Sunday School Friend was a semi-monthly, and later became a weekly illustrated Sunday paper published by The Swedish Evangelical Mission Covenant of America. The Covenant Publishing Committee took over Veckobladet’s Sondagsskol-Vannen and began The Sunday School Friend in 1919 out of a desire to create a Sunday School publication in the English language.
