Biographical / Historical

Congregation met at 280 N Franklin Street, on Ontario Street (1869-1887) and on Orleans and Whiting Streets (1887-1926) before moving to Artesian and Albion Streets in 1926. This church was variously called "Evangelical Lutheran Missionary Association of Chicago", "North Side Church", "North Side Mission Covenant Church", "First Covenant Church, Chicago" and "First Evangelical Covenant Church of Chicago"
