Biographical / Historical
This church was organized in 1923 under the name "Immanuel Mission Church" in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago after people left the Lakeview Covenant Church. Beginning in 1924, the church meet at Aldine Avenue until a new building was constructed in 1949 at the corner of Foster and Washtenew Avenues in Chicago. At this time the church affliated itself with the Evangelical Covenant Church.
