Biographical / Historical

Formed November 27, 1884 as the Swedish Christian Mission Society in the Northwest. At its incorporation around 1913 its name changed to the Northwestern Mission Society. Also called the Northwestern Mission Association. In 1947 the South Dakota Conference merged into it.
