Physical Description
Oil on canvas. Condition: Poor; paint is cracking and at risk of flaking. The frame is broken at one joint and there is no backing board. The stretcher is deeper than the frame rebate, leaving the stretcher protruding from the back. Thus the frame offers little support. The painting must be stored flat and handled with care..

Oil on canvas created by Birger Sandzén. reframed about 2002 by Mark Olson (NPU administrator); canvas is 24" x 20"; originally hung in Caroline Hall above the fireplace (see photo CAHL 13014); hung in Student Services building at the time of the art survey in the 1980s; hung in Mark Olson's office circa 20012016; he reports finding it hanging over a utility box in the Student Services building; stored in President's Office 2016 until its transfer to the Archives in April 2017; ACC 17011.
