General

Chalk on masonite created by Sallman, Warner. Tree is said to be located in Evanston on Chicago's North Shore. ; According to tradition, it has been bent by Indians while still a sapling in order to mark a trail. ; The trunk is bent 90 degrees to the right with two of the lower branches now growing upwards.; Framed.
