Biographical / Historical
Club Dalarna of Chicago, Illinois (Chicago Dala Förbundet) was founded March 17, 1917. The purpose of this organization was to provide a meeting place for natives of Dalarna and their descendants, and to promote the heritage and traditions of the province. Club Dalarna is still in existence, with meetings held monthly at the Swedish Glee Club or the Long Lake Club House. Membership is open to Swedish Americans, and their descendants and families.
